Gluten Free Beer in New Zealand

Sharing a beer with our neighbours - it's what we do.

Whether it's just got home from work knock-offs, supervising the kids playing in the street, or "thanks for putting the bins out while we went away" - there's always a good excuse to crack a tinny with your mate next door. As New Zealand is our nearest neighbours, we wanted to crack a few beers with you. So, kia ora! To good neighbours and Gluten Free beer in New Zealand.

Gluten Free Beer is now in New Zealand

From November 2025 New Zealanders have been able to grab TWØBAYS beers from our online store, and demand has been huge. The next stage of the journey is to make sure everyone can grab a beer close to home, so we are excited to announce that New Zealand's craft brewing royalty, Garage Project, are now official wholesale partners for TWØBAYS and GFB across the ditch. Their team will be knocking on doors and doing their best to make sure every licensee in New Zealand stocks a gluten free beer so no one has to miss out on the bar shout.

Initially, distribution will focus on Two Bays’ two best-selling beers; Pale Ale and GFB Draught.

“Garage Project is one of the most respected names in craft beer, not just in New Zealand but globally,” says Richard Jeffares of Two Bays Brewing Co. “They share our passion for quality, innovation, and pushing boundaries, making them the ideal partner to represent Two Bays in New Zealand.”

Two Bays’ mission to redefine what gluten-free beer can be resonates with Garage Project’s own creative approach to brewing.

“Two Bays produce world class, great tasting beer - that also happens to be gluten-free.” says Pete Gillespie from Garage Project. “We think good drinking is about choice. Regardless of whether it's non-alcoholic, gluten-free or low carb, people shouldn't have to sacrifice quality or flavour when they're making their decisions about what they drink. Two Bays is a fantastic brewery that ticks all the boxes.”
