IPA CARTON 16 X 375ML

India Pale Ale was designed to survive the long sea journeys form the UK to the colonies, in the days of sail.

In order not to spoil, it was high in alcohol and hops.

So many so many so-called modern IPA are light on both, and more like fruit juice than true IPA.

Two Bays IPA is true traditional IPA, and incredibly satisfying, especially in combination with a hearty evening meal.

I really don't need the gluten free twist, as I'm not coeliac. I drink this because it's the best homage to IPA that I can find brewed in Australia. It even knocks the socks off imported IPA from the UK.

Highly recommended.

Being diagnosed as coeliac, I thought my craft beer days were over. This IPA was the best possible surprise - the right amount of bitterness with a deep and rounded flavour.

My sense of expectation was not disappointed by the first taste. Bouquet, taste and texture were first class and there was no sense that it was different from a special IPA style using wheat based ingredients. Full taste and body was there and remained to the end of the glass. I prefer the full flavour of a heavy beer and this was, indeed, very good.
